The 5th hole warrants its low stroke index in terms of difficulty with danger lurking from tee to green. The cardinal rule is to be straight. The humps and rough either side of the ridge across the fairway allied to the right hand side bunker demands an accurate tee shot. The fairway slopes left to right and any shot pulled or pushed risks being in semi rough, gorse, bunker or blocked by the Oak trees either side. Best to remember when playing this hole - straight is great.
