The Life of a Green Keeper
A few months back, the club was approached by a student who was studying Sports Production at the National Film and Television School; his graduation project would be a film on greenkeeping. We agreed that he could do his filming at Sandy Lodge and last October he and his small film crew arrived at 5am on a couple of very cold and wet days to film the green keepers in action and to conduct a few interviews. The final film was screened at the British Film Institute on the 4th March 2025, which was sponsored by BBC studios, so there were many industry professionals there who also got to see our fantastic Green Keeping team at Sandy Lodge Golf Club.
