Hole 1 - Outward Bound
Member’s Tip:
The first hole is a nice opening par five but has many traps. A nice straight drive that avoids the bunkers left and right will leave a five iron layup, but you need to favour the right side of the fairway to ovoid the two pot bunkers. This will leave something around an eight or nine iron to the green which as it is a large green can leave a long putt if not hit close.
