Hole 10 - The Table

Member’s Tip:

The 10th hole is the third par three in 4 holes and is the hardest of the three. Tee position and wind direction will have a bearing on club selection which may be anything from a 5 iron to a rescue club. The tee shot to an elevated green is fraught with danger. Anything pulled to the left runs the risk of striking the steep slope to the side of the green and running into heavy rough. Shots to the right will be caught by the bunker, the face of which is constructed from sleepers. Straight shots are rewarded on this hole and you have the choice of carrying the ball to the green which can be difficult to hold, or attempting to run it up the slope at the front. The green is large and slopes from right to left making it all too easy to three put. Coming off the tenth with a par three sets you up well for the back nine.
