Hole by Hole Card Gallery Practice Local Rules

  1. Out of Bounds.

    Rule 27 (White Stakes).

    1. Beyond all boundary fences marking the Golf Course.

    2. Behind the 6th and 18th Greens.

    3. To the left of the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th holes.

    4. The area delineated by the edging stones of the rubber path and extending from the end of the car park fence to the path in front of the Professional’s shop.

  1. Water Hazards.

      Rule 26 (Yellow Stakes).

      1. Ditch to the left of the 12th hole.

      2. Ditch in front of the 17th tee.

  1. Lateral Water Hazards.

Rule 26 (Red Stakes).

    1. Ditch between 9th and 10 holes

    2. Ditch between 12th and 14th holes

    3. Ditches to the left of the 15th and 16th holes

  1. Stones in Bunkers.

    Rule 24-1.

Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions. 
 

  1. Immovable Obstructions.

    All gritted paths are immovable obstructions. All other paths and sleepers in bunkers at the 2nd and 10th holes are integral parts of the course. 
     

  1. Fixed Sprinkler Heads.

Rule 24-2

    All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable objects and relief from interference by them may be obtained under rule 24-2. In addition, if a ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and such an obstruction is on or within two club-length of the putting green and within two club-length of the ball intervenes on the line of play between to ball and the hole, the player may take relief as follows. The ball shall be lifted and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which (a) is not nearer the hole, (b) avoids such interventions, (c) is not in a hazard, or on the putting green. The ball may be cleaned when so lifted. 
     

  1. Access Sleeper Steps.

    Rule 24-2

    The access sleeper steps into a bunker on the 3rd hole are immovable obstructions and relief can be obtained by dropping inside the hazard at the nearest point of relief available only if the steps interfere with your swing or stance. 
     

    This rule will also apply to all other sleeper access steps but in these cases relief must be taken at the nearest point of relief not nearer the hole.
