The Course.
The redevelopment following WWII left intact the sleepers at the 2nd and 10th, as well as the Mae West mounds at the 12th. The year 2000 saw a redevelopment that re-bunkered the course, added subtle mounding, and altered a few tee positions. The overall objective was successful in creating a more strategic course that challenges players of all ages and skill levels. During 2006 a new 7th tee was built together with new mounded run off areas at the back of the green. The 8th tee was also enlarged. During 2007 we embarked on a bunker renovation project which will be completed in 2009. |

Officially
opened on July 16, 1910, when Harry Vardon
and James Braid took part in an exhibition match, the course has since
undergone some subtle changes.
