Sparkling & Champagne

1.       Sparkling Brut, N.V. (Sauvignon Blanc – Chardonnay) Eikendal Vinyards (South Africa) £15.50

An unusual sparkling wine grape combination and very successful. Not to dry, full of fruit on the bouquet and the palate.

2.     Champagne GRUEt, Brut N.V. (France) £29.00

Bright pale yellow with a fine mousse. Attractive lemony nose with some elegance. A light, fresh lemony palate with a long finish.

3.     Lanson Black Label, Brut N.V. (France) £35.50    

Lanson Brut's brilliant and clear colour is reminiscent of the straw colour and hints of amber characteristic of the Pinot Noir grape. In the glass, it is lively with a fine string of bubbles.

  White Wines

4.   ‘Terrain’ Sauvignon Blanc (France) £11.25

Vin de Pays des Cotes de Gascogne, This Sauvignon Blanc leans towards a ‘New World’ style with a heady concentration of gooseberry aromas and aromatic elderflower characters.

5.     Chardonnay, JackaRoo (Australia) £12.75

A typical Aussie style with flavours of peach and melon and a ripe buttery finish

6.     Sauvignon ‘De La  LOIRE’ (France) £13.00

Classic flinty and gooseberry characteristics. Made from the best grape parcels which would rival most Sancerres.

7.     Rioja Blanco, Bodegas Montecillo (Spain) £14.00

Uncaked, 100% Viura grapes, bright and fresh with a creamy finish.

8.     Pinot Grigio del Veneto, Guerrieri Rizzardi (Italy) £16.00

Light and refreshing with a real zest. Soft pear and lime fruit create the perfect balance.

9.     Macon Blanc ‘Clos de Condemine’, Domaine Roger Luquet (France) £16.00

A crisp, dry white with fresh apple and citrus aromas. The Luquet family live in the village of Fuissé itself and only produce white Burgundy.

10.  SAUVIGNON BLANC, Redwood Pass (New Zealand) £16.50

Classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc, gooseberry, nettle and tropical fruits.

11.  CHABLIS, (France) £18.00

Fruity and floral aromas with the clean, fresh flavours and lively acidity of classic Chablis.

12.  MENETOU SALON, Domaine Henri Pelle (France) £25.00

Made from Sauvignon Blanc like Sancerre, with a refreshing acidity, attractive fruit and a lingering nutty, buttery finish.

 Rose Wines   

14.    ‘Terrain’ CABERNET FRANC ROSE, Vin de Pays des Côtes de Gascogne (France) £11.75

Attractive pink with a delicious bouquet of berry fruits for the stylish Rosé.

15.   PINOT GRIGIO ROSATO ‘ll Cantico’ (Italy) £14.50

This ‘blush’ version of the Bianco Pinot grigio is beginning to rove just as popular – light and fresh.

Red Wines

16.  ‘Terrain’ MERLOT Vin de Pays d’Oc (France) £11.25

This medium-bodied red is full of plum and cherry fruit. Soft and silky with dark chocolate nuances.

17.  ‘Astica’ CABERNET SAUVIGNON, Bodegas Trapiche (Argentina) £11.75

Deep blackcurrant bouquet and satiny tannins together with fine cassis flavours.

18.   SHIRAZ, JackaRoo  (Australia) £12.75

Vibrant crimson in colour and brimming with black fruit aromas.

19.   ‘Melodias’ MALBEC, Bodegas Trapiche (Argentina)  £13.00

Argentina’s Icon grape, Malbec, produces wines with great depth of colour and flavoursome hints of plums and damsons.

20.   COTES du RHONE ‘Lavandin’, Ogler (France)  £15.00

Bright ruby red with hints of violets and intense aromas of red fruit, spice and the ‘garrigue’ (the wild scrub of Southern France, full of aromatic plants).

21.    VALPOLICELLA CLASSICO SUPERIORE' Guerrieri Rizzardi Estate (Italy) £16.50

Rich cherry aroma, medium bodied but well flavoured and rounded after some 18 months in oak casks.

22.     RIOJA Royal Tinto (Spain) £17.00

Soft and round with a hint of oka from bodegas Franco Espanolas

23.    PINOTAGE, Rozier Bay (South Africa) £15.50

Voluptuous and spicy red wine, cascading with red fruit and cassis aromas. A stunning glass!

24.    RESERVA SHIRAZ-CABERNET SAUVIGNON, Lauca (Chile) £15.50

          A superb blend of peppery Shiraz and cassis Cabernet in this Reserva quality wine

25.    CHIANTI CLASSICO, Villa la Pagliala (Italy) £19.00

          Italy’s most famous wine, made mostly from Sanglovese grapes.

26.   FLEURIE ‘ Domaine de la Viroylette (France) £18.00

          Fleurie is a wine with all the exuberance of the countryside in the spring; fragrant GAMAY grapes with aromas of iris and violet. Available chilled if required.

27.    BOURGOGNE PINOT NOIR ‘La Forer’,  Maison Joseph Drouhin (France) £21.00

          Pinot Noir with a bouquet of strawberries and a hint of wild flowers, leading to a classic Burgundy palate.

28.    CHATEAU GIRAUDELS de MILON,  Grand Cru Classe Saint-Emilion. (France) £25.00

          This Merlot led Claret offers a combination of concentration and complexity

29.    RIOJA RESERVA, Bodegas Montecillo (Spain) £23.00

          A refined, complex, wine with a powerful aroma and hint of truffles on the palate.

30.    CHATEAUNEUF du PAPE, Domaine Condorcet (France) £29.00

        Very Intense colour with violet lights, aromas of blackberry, violets, sweet spice and a hint of currants, full and long with firm tannis.
