Directions
Please see enclosed map. Organizers are requested to advise their
members to allow at least an extra half hour on journey times due to
heavy local traffic in the morning.
Car Park
Visitors are required to
use the Visitors Car Park
the entrance being situated to the left hand side of the Clubhouse
and first tee. Please note that CCTV covers this parking area to
help deter car crime. However, the Club accepts no liability for
damage or vandalism to cars parked at these premises. Visitors
should NOT use the car park for changing to/from golf attire.
Smoking Policy
ALL
internal parts of Sandy Lodge Golf Club are NO SMOKING Areas.
Mobile Phones
The
use of mobile phones is not allowed on the course or within the
Clubhouse.
Their use is restricted to the confines of the car park.
Playing and Dress
Regulations
-
The golf club
requires visiting groups to play in a three-ball stableford
format at all times. Other formats are only permitted with the
prior agreement of the General Manager. Gentlemen are required
to play from the Yellow tees and Ladies from the Red tees. SLOW
PLAY IS NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME, loss of hole or persistent
offenders of slow play will be asked to leave the golf course.
Call players through should you be delayed or slow in completing
a hole.

Societies are
not permitted to play before 8.45am.

All Members of
your party must be conversant with the etiquette of the game and
repair pitch marks and replace divots. They should have bona
fide handicaps, as beginners are not allowed to use the course
under any circumstances.

Wide wheel
trolleys and buggies, which are the only types permitted on the
course, are available for hire from the Pro Shop. Keep trolleys
and buggies off greens and tees.

The Club will
provide a starter for all Societies of 16 or more players.
Societies are asked to co-operate with his instructions,
particularly in the matter of teeing-off times.

During the
summer months, tailored shorts and knee-length socks, or short
white sports socks, are an acceptable form of dress on the
course. Jeans and collarless shirts are not permitted. The Club
reserves the right to refuse entry to the Clubhouse and the
course to members of visiting Societies whose standard of dress
in the judgment of the General Manager or, in his absence, the
Professional, falls short of that required of Club Members.

Please note
that after 6.00pm a jacket and tie or roll neck must be worn in
the Lounge and Dining Room.
General Information

Course planners are available
through the Club Professional.

A long driving and nearest the
pin competition can be arranged through the Club Professional on
recommended holes.

All arrangements for golf
clinics should be made in advance through the Club Professional.

By prior arrangement with the
General Manager, Companies may display banners on the course or
fly their Company flag from the Club's flagpole.
Security
Visitors will be given an access code (which
changes daily) for entry doors to the Clubhouse. The code of the day
is available from the Office or Pro Shop. All visitors must use the
designated area in the locker room to change shoes and clothing.
Visitors are strongly advised not to leave their belongings
unattended. Neither Sandy Lodge Golf Club Limited nor Sandy Lodge
Golf Club or their respective members, employees or agents accept
any responsibility for loss or damage to property left at owners
risk either inside or outside the Clubhouse.
